The TriZone 6000 from Oral-B is a mid-range electric brush that delivers a fantastic cleaning and boasts a number of helpful features, like multiple cleaning modes. With advanced features, like Bluetooth connectivity, this brush is surprisingly affordable and is so easy to use.
Before we dive into our review, here’s a quick rundown of what we liked and didn’t like about this brush:
- Multiple cleaning modes meet all dental needs
- Several brush heads included
- Travel case makes it easy to pack this brush and go
- Delivers a deep, thorough cleaning
- Oral-B app is silly
- Battery life is fickle
We’re not sure why all of the major toothbrush brands are trying to push app connectivity, but the feature rarely provides any value.
We also noticed that the battery life started to dwindle a bit after a month of use. Not everyone has this problem, so we suspect a faulty battery is to blame.
Our Oral-B TriZone 6000 Review
Like other Oral-B brushes, the TriZone 6000 uses 3D cleaning technology to remove more plaque along the gumline and in between teeth. The brush heads sweep and vibrate to clean teeth. The sweeping action gets in between teeth, while the pulsations break up plaque along the gumline.
The TriZone 6000 offers five cleaning modes: daily, sensitive, gum care, deep clean and whitening. While most people will stick to the daily mode, the deep clean and whitening modes are great for situations when you need a more intense cleaning.
The Bluetooth connectivity feature allows you to connect to the Oral-B app. The app lets you know that you’ve reached your goal of brushing for two minutes, and also gives you some other feedback, like how many seconds you brushed with too much pressure and whether or not you cleaned your tongue properly. For data-enthusiasts, this feature may be attractive, but most people won’t use it.
One thing we can say about the app is that it allows you to show your brushing feedback to your dentist, and he or she can adjust the guidance as necessary. Dental care journeys also let you meet goals for your specific oral care needs.
Included with the brush are four brush heads: 2 PowerTIp and 2 TriZone. You’ll also receive a SmartGuide and a travel case. The SmartGuide also has a timer with a quadpacer, so you always brush for the dentist-recommended amount of time.
We liked the built-in pressure sensor that let us know when we were brushing too hard. And we also liked that Oral-B offers a variety of replacement brush heads, so we could choose one that is suited to our dental needs.

Overall, we liked the TriZone 6000. It delivered a deep, thorough cleaning while making sure that we brushed for two minutes at a time. While we aren’t fans of the app feature, some users (especially those with unique dental needs) will find it useful.
